Interesting history. Same owner since 1986, he had the restoration done in 1987 and has taken exceptional care since. It was driven and shown around the country at various Pontiac nationals, World of Wheels etc. In 2002 it was the feature cover car on Pontiac Enthusiast magazine. It was used in a few photo shoots. The fact it looks as good as it does today says a lot about the quality of restoration. EXTERIOR: The body is completely straight. I felt all along the bottom of the doors, fenders, 1/4s and it's smooth, no bubbles. The paint is polished to a smooth glossy finish. It has the typical stress cracks that all convertibles get eventually near the top corners of the trunk lid. Jambs are detailed, has slick paint, bottom door lip is clean. The rubber bumper fits really well, only has a few hairline cracks in the paint. The grills are detailed, headlight bezels are rechromed, the high beams are still original T-3 headlights. Has a hood tachometer. The chrome remote mirror, door handles rear bumper are excellent. All the stainless trim is polished and straight. Glass is excellent and fits real nice, the windshield is new. The white convertible top is very nice, no rips or tears. Has a glass window. Rally ll wheels are restored, has correct lug nuts and center caps. BFG tires look new. Weatherstrips were replaced and are still excellent. INTERIOR: Inside the car is very well kept, unabused condition. The door panels are mint. Not warped, window cranks, handles and armrests are all excellent. The correct upholstery is all in excellent condition. Headrests, seat backs are excellent. Carpets look new, sill plates look new. The dash instrument area is very nice shape, nothing's broken or beat up. Has factory in dash gauges and clock. Stock Am radio, has stereo in glovebox. Center console is real good. Interior lights work. Looking up the convertible frame is neatly painted. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has VIN number matched 400-350 horsepower motor. The compartment is restored to factory specs. Engine has a nice clean coat of the Pontiac aqua paint. Correct chromed valve covers and air cleaner lid. The heat shield on the exhaust and riser tube are hooked up, washer bottle and squirters are hooked up. Correct hoses, clamps and the heater hose bracket is still there. Firewall is clean, wiper motor and brake booster is detailed. Front of the motor has nice clean brackets, alternator, power steering pump. Has spring clamp battery cables.
