Basically, whatever passes through our mouths ends up in our stomachs and most times leaves through the exit at the other end. However, there are times that we ingest things that are not particularly to be ingested and this results in major issues. Animals have it a bit worse. Most animals possess a sixth sense, they are able to sense when there’s an imminent danger. However, the animals on this list either didn’t care about the danger or simply didn’t see it coming. Here’s our are15 weirdest things ever found inside animals. Crocodiles aren’t exactly picky eaters and will not hesitate to attack even humans when they are angered. But finding three live baby turtles inside the belly of a crocodile sure takes a new turn. A video uploaded on the internet showed a captured crocodile that was supposed to be dinner being gutted to reveal the three turtles in its belly. Luckily, two of the turtles looked perfectly fine, wiggling their heads and legs, and the third looked like it would need some time to rest before getting back on its feet. The uploaded video was a subject of debate for many because they claimed the footage may have been doctored. Either way, crocodiles have a very interesting appetite and will eat just about anything, including turtles. Their strong jaws are capable of delivering blows that can crush bones and break shells as strong as those of a turtle. So it is possible that this crocodile didn’t bother with chewing because they were so little. Number 14 Police Whistle Inside Jumbo the Elephant The origin of the word Jumbo, the same jumbo as in jumbo jet and jumbo crabs, came African elephant referred to as Jumbo the Elephant. Jumbo the elephant was the world’s first animal superstar, a pretty important position to hold. Jumbo was born in the area that is now the border between Sudan and Ethiopia in 1860. When he was 2 years old, his mother was killed by hunters in Sudan and he was sold to an Italian animal dealer called Lorenzo Casanova. He was first displayed in the London Zoo where people troupe to see the amazing African elephant. He then joined the Barnum & Bailey circus and stole the hearts of millions of people. Jumbo loved the occasional snack and most importantly, loved to share a bottle of scotch in the evenings with his carer and friend, Matthew Scott. During the day, Jumbo favored a keg of beer. Unfortunately, Jumbo met a tragic death when he was killed by a train at 24 years. While his hide was harvested, they found an assortment of keys, coins, and of course, a police whistle inside his stomach. Jumbo has many books written about him, and the most popular book was the one written by his friend Scott. Jumbo is also supposedly the inspiration behind the Disney movie, Dumbo. Number 13 Barbecue Tongs in a Snake Of all the many choice meals available to a python, a pair of BBQ tongs does not come to mind. However, a 2-year-old pet Woma Python named Winston wanted to have a taste of the tongs. Winston was being fed a rat by his owner, Aaron Rouse, using the tongs, but Winston wouldn’t let go of the tongs after receiving his meal. He latched on to the tongs and Rouse had to let him have it. Unfortunately, rather than simply playing with the tongs like Rouse thought the snake would do, he swallowed the entire thing and it became lodged inside him. Winston was taken to a veterinary surgeon who was as dumbfounded as Rouse was that the snake had swallowed the instrument. The skin of the snake was so touted around the tongs that they could make out the different parts of the tong. The surgery was a delicate one and had to be done precisely to avoid causing more damage to the snake. Winston was doing great after the surgery and will definitely not include tongs in his diet. Another snake that swallowed a pair of tongs is Snickers. Maybe the tongs were covered in pieces of the past grill session, its owners are not entirely sure, however, Snickers swallowed them. Fortunately, all he needed was a massage for about an hour and he coughed them right back up!
