However, be sure to put a bumper somewhere to keep the front door from banging into the storage unit! (kids and all) You have a great "eye" and are blessed with a great talent to do this! @CB-zd2dn4 years agoThank you for the wonderful videos you make. I am more of your mom's age but I really love your style it is timeless and works for any age. Our home colors are mostly beige, black and white and some grey. These are colors my husband is comfortable with. I was even worried to bring in a deep red pillow as an accent but he warmed to it. Since I recently subscribed to your channel my husband sits and watches sometimes and was I ever shocked when I asked what he thought of the couch in this video and he said he liked it! He actually said I like this channel that's a really well put together room that I would like in my home. You don't know him but that is a HUGE compliment!!!! Keep up the wonderful videos they are such an inspiration ❤️ ...1

I think it would have added some interesting texture and color to add window shades (high end bamboolike?) with a color in the same family of armchair or ottoman. Keeping the cream drapes, but bringing some of that tan/tobacco into that corner to break up that cream color a little more. You're right that couch is gorgeous!👍 ...

I paused at the starting of the video & challenged myself of ways I can think of the possible use of this room if I would have been given the job make over.. Nothing as such special struck me! As to how to incorporate colours and how not to make it look all edged sharp lines running all along the room .. It seemed like an impossible job.. But you did it . Bright colourful homely while incorporating different shapes and sizes from center table to plants to side table to lamp and vase! ...3

However, the chairs in the window alcove need the end table for beverages and snacks more than the sofa, as the sofa already has a coffee table. I disagree with the pax wardrobe placement as it’s blocking light into the living room. For function...I would have put the bench under the window by the door, as it blocks the stairs. And the pax on the brick wall. Then the little space filler shelf thing is not needed. ...7
