@xenogear884 years agoI have an EBS Reidmar 502 with a EBS Neo 112 and this brand is totally underrated and not known enough ! I tried the Fafner II for a week too and this 802 is the heir to the Fafner in a way ! Excellent amp 4

@manny75586last yearSounds great. I use the EBS Microbass 3 preamp and absolutely love it. This head would be a great addition to my gear pile.

@mechanicsofthemind82914 years agoI have been using the EBS FAFNER II with 2X15 Bag Ends, one is with the Coaxial tweeter the other is just a sub, I have to say I passionately love my gear, and the EBS FAFNER II is Out of this world Amazing! I love the fact its made in Sweden, the drive the compressor , dual channels, also I can run 2 XLR's to the board, for pre and post while recording to get a clean from the bass, and after the EQ setting for 2 distinguished bass signals, There is more versatility on the EBS FAFNER II than you can shake a stick it, so that being said This new EBS 802 AMP, seems to be very similar to the FAFNER II, get it you cannot go wrong with EBS!!! ...

@jayl59414 years agoAnother incredible sounding video with stellar production and audio quality. Do you use any post processing on amp reviews like this or is the DI straight in with no other EQ or mastering? 1

@trevorblair55524 years agoHi Gregor, I’m so happy you reviewed this amp. I own everything EBS apart from this amp which I now will order!! 👍🏾🙏🏿 2

@VoxTone20093 years agoYou guys should really test the Bergantino Forte HD and the HG 4x10/4x12 cabs etc. Test clean or with the different character (tube/drive/OD/fuzz) available. Will make the EBS sound weak. I sent my 802 back since the Berg was so much better. It is smaller but 1200w, so plenty powerful. The Trickfish 1k also sounded better than the EBS to me. Used to be an EBS fan (still have their 750) but they have gotten overtaken lately by other brands. Still a good amp, but at this price there are others better. ...

@StellaJo674 years agoI'm learning so much watching these videos and I haven't even started playing bass yet. Any recommendations on which bass to buy for a beginner that I can grow with and not have to replace as my skills advance? 3

@nicolas.grisanti4 years agoThat Musicman Cutlass...yeah the amp was good too XD 2

@EisGlockner4 years agoPlease also test the Darkglass Heads. really wanna see that :) LG aus Österreich

@LiamKelly824 years agoHi everyone. I'm would like to know the brand of that cream white bass being played in the video. The 2nd of the 3 basses being played. Can anyone help me out? 1
@
@EMB754 years agoOK, so... 802 is replacement for TD660 (or Fafner?). When i see (and hear) all those features, i can't wait for the new HD360!!!

@
@stingcarlsson79884 years agoFor that price you can go all-tube head, instead of SS! Wrong pricing imho!
@
@jolantagrochocka3 years agoYou should check Handbox R-400 from Polish brand, you will change opinion how should sound bass.
@
@sr80bassguy4 years agoSounds great but the wattage is way too low for an amp of that size and magnitude. Should be at least double what it is.
@
@Bass.Player4 years agoReverb has them for only $3,380.97+$149.87Shipping! How many do you want? 1

@Sams9113 years agowhat on earth is going on? Went to your store site and it says you no longer carry the EBS 802? Why? 1
@
@jean-sebastienchaumont80054 years agoi would be cool to see some hartke stuff if you can🙂
@
@chriscuthbertson4 years agoThere is nothing wrong with a 'boring sounding' amp... if the bass going into it isn't. I've always just wanted the sound of my bass.... just louder.
@
@grahamhunter25764 years agoMaybe stick with one bass throughout and use the amp to change the tone instead of all the bass swapping? Using obscure basses also means most of us don't have a tonal reference for what the amp is doing. 1
@
@rijudasgupta26434 years agoThe Cutlass is the best bass ever made 2
@
@pauldershem4 years agoNo Variable High-Pass Filter. :( Sorry, but I won't even consider an amp without one.
