Date: 1/5/22 Location: Le Sueur/Henderson High School, Le Sueur, Minnesota Temp: 5°F Signal: 3 minutes of alert & 3 minutes of fast wail Units Heard: WPS-2740 (main unit) - 150 WPS-2802 - 0.6 miles WPS-2740 - 0.7 miles WPS-2740 - 0.8 miles WPW-2740 - 1.0 miles Alert - 0:00 Fast wail - 5:50 I said I would wait to upload 2022 videos, but this was just too cool to wait. After the fluke in Hudson, I went down to Le Sueur to their unrecorded Whelen system. I knew what kind of sirens they had and that they did two signals, but that was pretty much it. I had no idea what kind of controllers they had, how long the test itself was, or what their testing habits were. I had a hunch that some of these were analog though, so I wanted to chance it. I ended up waiting about ten minutes for the test to start, and waited another ten minutes after that for attack. It ended up being analog like I had hoped, and I got two full signals! I’m not sure if they normally do that, because it sounded like they were busy when I called, but I’ll take it! Thanks for watching, and enjoy! Le Sueur County tests its siren system on the first Wednesday of every month at 1 PM, weather permitting.
