DIY Water Bike - Build and Maiden Voyage

DIY water bike build and maiden voyage. The bike was built as a fun project with the kids, trying to teach them some fabrication techniques along with a bit of math and creative use of parts / materials. They learned a ton, had fun and now have a cool water toy to play with for many years to come :) Maiden voyage was at Scotts Flat lake in northern California, summer of 2017. The bike had no issues tackling wake from boats in any direction with one rider aboard, in fact it was a ton of fun! Might build a bigger propeller for it to make it go faster.. Try this at home or any other project like this! Kids don't get nearly enough hands-on experience these days, a project like this one can spark up their minds and change their perspective.
