@Precisionetica2 years agoIt’s a 10/10 I’m playing with the Aether SX2 emulator with the 4K HD resolution on a MAC M1 and it now looks like a steam game . Just Perfect . 2

@SkywalkerAni3 years agoThese Tomb Raider reviews have been fun for me to watch- I've only ever played 1 Tomb Raider (the 2013 reboot), so my knowledge of the overall Tomb Raider series is...spotty, at best. So learning more about the games is fun! ...5

@homardeguzman35442 years agoLove the review. But I wish there were some sort of spoiler alert at the start. Didn't know you were going to go through the storyline. Sorry some of us haven't played the game yet. Some of us are born too late. Thanks. ...7

@andylindsey10 months agoThere's a ton to like about this remake. Graphics and gameplay are of course upgraded. And the soundtrack uses motifs from the original, which is greatly appreciated. I still prefer the style and arrangements of the original though. I think I prefer the voice acting/cut scenes of the original too. Could just be nostalgic bias, but the original felt more cinematic and mature. The remake feels like it's just a video game and it's phoning it in. I also dislike the t-rex as a boss character event. I always liked how in the original a t-rex just shows up out of nowhere as an extra hard enemy and you have to fight it! No cut scene to warn you. I like that simplicity. I think anyone who wants to try a Tomb Raider game for the first time should experience the original story/locations. If the 1996 game is too old and clunky looking for them, then definitely go for the remake. It's faithful enough an adaption and really amps up the visuals and atmosphere. ...1

@majesticvaporeon55902 years agoI always loved Tomb Raider Anniversary. I place the remake in the same category has Resident Evil 2002 remake and Pokemon Firered/Leafgreen. I like that the game is longer than Legend. I enjoyed 2013 reboot as a video-game, but it does not feel like a traditional tomb raider game. I would have loved to see TR2 or Last Revelation remade like Anniversary. And the Lara Croft from Anniversary is my favorite design. She has gloves, backpack, dual pistols, big boots and boobs, and the iconic braid. The game has given me a lot of memories and I always enjoy going back to it. PC version is the best because it has better resolution and anti-aliasing. ...1

@Tommylop19823 years agoWhen it comes to the legend series the first one was too puzzle oriented the 2nd was to action oriented. The third one was just right, plus you get to wield mulenir in the end. 3

@ganeshborade37063 years agoI think this game is awesome because even if it's too long, I completed this game on my mobile using ppsspp emulator. With on screen controls. Just because, I am tired of playing high graphics games on Android and all new high graphics Android games are piece of sh*t. Only few of the old Android games are good. But they also can't be played on my mobile because they don't support Android 10. If you know, please suggest me some good campaign Android games I don't care about graphics just good campaign mode like this tomb raider. ...1

@Demowan3 years agoMy personal TR ranking would be : 1. TR 1996 2. TR Last Revelation 3. Anniversary 4. Rise of the TR 5. TR 2 6. TR 2013 7. Shadow 8.Angel of Darkness 9. Chronicles 10. Legend 11. Underworld 12. TR3 Overall, I thorougly enjoyed Anniversary, and found that its length was appropriate. That being said, Anniversary's gameplay hasn't aged too well, the fights are clunky and the crazy cameras will make you fail jumps numerous times. It can be exasperating. Still a great game though, in terms of atmosphere and level design, as well as character building and of course, story, but that's the one from the original TR, so how better could it be ? ...4

@delshadayin15472 years ago2013 version of TOMB RAIDER isnt TOMB RAIDER i hate it 2

@Ausf.D.A.K.2 years agoLegend was fine, but Anniversary got way too tedious and frustrating. 1

@WarsmithGoz3 years agoI just finished the game and I think Legends is still better. It was too quiet and lacked dialogue in-between puzzle solving which, for me, killed the immersion that Lara is a living being instead of a controlled robot. 3
