S. Korea adds 2,248 new COVID-19 infections on Sat.

신규확진 2천248명...수도권 중심으로 확산세 지속 South Korea added more than 22-hundred COVID-19 cases as of Saturday... as the virus resurgence continues to rage on. Infections continue to surge in the capital areas, with Seoul and Gyeonggi-do Province adding well over 700 new cases. The figures remain high after the Chuseok holidays last week... and health authorities continue to be on alert ahead of substitute holidays for National Foundation Day on Monday, and Hangeul Day next week. The Korean government has extended the highest social distancing measure for two more weeks until later this month.
