In today’s video I meet up with Phil Rich and Paul Hamblett to take on a rolling century in the beautiful but wet Chiltern Countryside, for a Sportive called The Hardest Hundred Chilterns, comprising 167km and 2350m elevation. Aiming to sustain good momentum plus go hard on the climbs in order get over the finish line before the UK’s summer storms! The main climb featured in the video is Official 100 Climbs Whiteleaf - which has secreted steep ramps inside a mystical Forest! It also includes Ivinghoe Beacon plus a plethora of others, ending with Hill Road Watlington. I learn a load more about how to pace the big rides from Paul and Phil - who as always are amazing company - and together we show you the sights of the beautiful English Countryside and villages. The rain gives me a good chance to review my excellent Castelli Gabba jersey Please leave those comments and hit that subscribe Don't forget, none of this is advice, you do you.
