@GeorgeTheIndianFarmer കിളി ഞാവൽ അച്ചാർ ഇടാൻ പറ്റിയതാണ്. ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ കിളി ഞാവൽ, മുളക്, ആപ്പിൾ സിഡർ വിനീകർ, ഉപ്പ് എന്നിവ ചേർത്ത് ഒരു നല്ല പിക്കൾ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. Ardisia elliptica or Shoe button fruit although small is good for pickling. I pickled it with hot and spicy red chillies, apple cider vinegar, salt etc. I had kept it untouched for 6 months.(Hey... I had other pickles at home all the time) So when I finally opened the bottle, it was like opening a bottle of wine. The colour of fruit had mixed with the apple cider vinegar, the chillies had lent enough fire, the fruit had its flavour and sweet and sour taste. A must try folks.
