--- IIT Kanpur graduate Arvind Krishna to become CEO of 108-year-old IBM --- IBM has named the head of its cloud business Arvind Krishna as CEO from April. He joins Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Google's Sundar Pichai, Adobe's Shantanu Narayen and Mastercard's Ajay Banga in the list of India-born heads of prominent US tech companies. Krishna graduated from IIT Kanpur and has a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. --- US will have to get samosas in next meeting of tech CEOs: Mahindra on new IBM boss --- After Arvind Krishna was named IBM's next CEO, Anand Mahindra joked the White House would have to get samosas as snacks and not hamburgers when it organises a conclave of tech industry titans. "What a stunning endorsement of the managerial capabilities of Indian-origin managers," he said on Krishna's appointment. Durov said the issue was WhatsApp-specific. --- Facebook refused to remove business page dedicated to my butthole: US woman --- A US-based woman has accused Facebook of repeatedly refusing to remove a business page dedicated to her butthole. Facebook told Jespersen that the page "Samantha Rae Anna Jespersen's Butthole" did not violate its policies. The page read, "This unofficial Page was created because people on Facebook showed interest in this place...It's not affiliated...with Samantha Rae Anna Jespersen's Butthole."
